It all started with a simple yet ambitious question: Can a doctor’s visit be as simple and convenient as booking a ride through an app? Our Swedish partner envisioned a world where patients would no longer have to stand in queues, and doctors would not waste their energy dealing with bureaucracy. However, the reality of home visits was far from this ideal. It was dominated by paper files, complex logistics, and chaotic documentation.
Giving doctors back time for patient care
The doctors at Mobila Doktorn wanted to focus on treating patients, but instead they were becoming logistics coordinators and administrators. Every home visit involved manually planning routes, tedious form filling, and uncertainty around the security of medical data. We needed a solution that would take this burden off their shoulders and allow them to focus solely on the patient again.
Our answer: An invisible assistant in your pocket
At itCraft, we didn’t simply want to write code – we wanted to create a system that truly “understands” the rhythm of a doctor’s day. Instead of building a complex technological barrier, we designed an intuitive assistant that supports medical professionals at every stage of their work:
The system automatically matches patient requests with the nearest available doctors, dramatically reducing waiting times for care and optimizing logistics across the entire team.
We integrated the application with Sweden’s BankID system. This ensures the highest standard of medical data security, while for users it means logging in is as simple as a single tap on the screen.
From their smartphone, doctors have full access to patient history and can issue prescriptions and referrals directly, eliminating paper-based bureaucracy during the visit.
All post-visit formalities and settlements happen automatically in the background. The system removes the burden of administrative work from doctors, allowing them to focus solely on the patient.
